The butyl rubber as the main part, adding a certain proportion polyisobutene, black and white carbon black, compound additive, vulcanizing agent, plasticizer, softener and other fillers makes GB flexible filler. Its main material is butyl rubber, and the finished production is similar to putty, so it is also named butyl rubber sealing putty or putty sealant.

GB flexible filler, which is designed specially for concrete panel, rockfill dam peripheral joint and expansion joint, is the new type of waterproof material. It is widely used in water conservation, electric power engineering, industry and civil construction works. And it has achieved good impermeable sealing effect in these projects.

GB flexible filler can be divided into two kinds according to appearance: stereotypes filler and non-stereotypes filler.

Features:

Good deformability and fluidity. It can flow under the pressure of water, and it has waterproof effect after squeezed into the joints. It has good impervious performance, so it works in the sealing and waterproof of small openings and cracks.

Good gluing property. The bonding strength of GB flexible filler and concrete is greater than the tensile strength of the material itself. And it can ensure that damage of bonding interface will not occur under various working conditions.

Excellent performance of resistance to medium. That is to say, it is resistant to water and alkali salt soak. It has strong suitability to environment, and it is resistant to the cycle of freezing and thawing. What's more, it has a certain cold and high temperature resistance.

GB flexible filler can be processed into various shapes and section sizes according to needs to facilitate construction.

The stereotypes filler can be processed into various sizes as customers' requirements, and the non-stereotypes filler is 25kg/bag (carton).

Application:

The expansion joints and peripheral joints of various large and medium-sized hydropower project.

Large roof board and expansion joints.

The waterproof sealing of mobile houses and bathrooms.

The waterproof sealing of basement, civil air defense projects, subway tunnels, culverts and various water supply and drainage projects.

Gluing and sealing of concrete and rubber, plastic, ceramic and various metal material.

Using method: 

First, you should chisel V shape grooves of 8 cm depth on the top of various joints and cracks. Clear the stone, dust and loosening articles fully and filled the uneven departments with mortar and make it dry. 

Rub the material into strips whose width is close to the joints width by hand before the construction. After filling the joints, cover the rubbed material on the filled joints and make the surface convex cylindrical (arc). And place the PVC protection plate on it.

The matters need to attention during using GB flexible filler:

The construction principle: First inside seams, then outside seams. First both sides, then middle area.

The construction base surface must be burly and dry.

Protect the finished work and avoid mechanical operation after the waterproof material construction finished.
